A motorist, Keno Omofezi, who was traveling from Igbide to Oleh, expressed distress over the deplorable state of the bridge.

“It is truly heartbreaking to consider the predicament we are facing. As you can see, the damage is extensive, immense, and severe. We humbly implore our governor to come to our aid in this unexpected situation,” he remarked.

Omofezi emphasized the bridge’s significance as it links Isoko communities to the well-known East-West Road.

“We simply cannot afford to be without it,” he added.

Another passerby, Anthony Okpiyalele, who also spoke with Nivo News, suggested taking immediate action by requesting that the state government first repair the damaged bridge and then formulate a long-term plan for constructing a new, longer bridge as a lasting solution to the issue.
