The controversy surrounding a paternity test for the child MohBad left behind has caused a commotion on the internet. Mr. Joseph Aloba, the late rapper’s father, insisted on the necessity of a DNA test and requested that it be conducted in his presence or that of his representative.
Sharing a message exchange with MohBad’s wife, actress Iyabo Ojo posted on her Instagram, revealing that the widow is open to a DNA test for her son. In her message, Wunmi stated that she would withhold any statements until November 7, the date for the coroner’s inquest, as she did not want any distractions.
She expressed her desire for justice for her husband and noted that a DNA test is essential. Iyabo Ojo captioned her post with a call for justice, emphasizing that they are determined not to give up on seeking justice for MohBad.

‘He Should Go And Prepare For Another Defeat’ – APC Tackles Peter Obi Over Winning 2023 Election Claim.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has sharply criticized Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi for claiming victory in the 2023 general election, telling him to brace himself for another defeat in the upcoming 2027 poll.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Obi, who previously ran on the Labour Party (LP) platform during the 2023 race, made the assertion during an Arise News interview, where he also outlined a new governance blueprint. During the discussion, Obi targeted President Bola Tinubu’s administration over its fiscal decisions, labeling its management of an estimated ₦16 trillion in fuel subsidy savings as reckless and detached from the economic hardships, security challenges, and infrastructural deficits facing ordinary citizens. Although official figures from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) placed him third behind Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, Obi maintained, “I did, and I will maintain that as long as I live that I won the 2023 election”, adding that election records and organizers were aware of what transpired.
In response, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda—speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki—dismissed the claim as baseless. Tooki questioned the validity of Obi’s statement, pointing out that he lacked party agents across several northern states and asking why INEC never officially declared him the winner. “He should go and prepare for another imminent loss in 2027,” Tooki stated.
Addressing Obi’s critique of the ₦16 trillion subsidy savings, the APC aide defended the federal government’s economic interventions. Tooki urged Obi to evaluate increased federal allocations to state governments, the absence of fuel queues, the frequency of industrial strikes, and the distribution of student loans via NELFUND. Dismissing Obi’s concerns regarding the funds, Tooki remarked, “Does he want the ₦16 trillion to be transported to his bedroom?”

Desperate Legal Battle: Tinubu And APC Storm Court, Demand Absolute Dismissal Of Atiku’s NYSC Certificate Forgery Suit.
President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have filed a joint counter-affidavit at the Federal High Court in Abuja, urging the dismissal of a lawsuit brought by African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar. The suit sought to disqualify Tinubu from the 2027 presidential election, alleging he presented a forged National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In the counter-affidavit, deposed by APC Director of Legal Services Sanusi Samaila, Tinubu and the APC categorically denied the forgery allegations. They maintained that no forged document was submitted to INEC for either the 2023 or 2027 elections. Samaila emphasized that the NYSC has never disclaimed the certificate in question, and INEC accepted Tinubu’s educational qualifications, subsequently publishing his particulars as the APC candidate.
The defendants further challenged the plaintiffs’ legal standing (locus standi) to question Tinubu’s candidacy. Samaila argued that since neither Atiku nor the ADC were members of the APC or participants in the party’s presidential primary, they have no right to interfere in the party’s internal affairs. He described their suit as a complaint about the nomination process, not a legitimate challenge based on constitutional or Electoral Act breaches.
In a separate written address, counsel for Tinubu and the APC, Akin Olujimi, raised several preliminary objections. He argued that forgery is a criminal allegation requiring proof beyond reasonable doubt, which the plaintiffs failed to provide, notably by lacking a disclaimer from the NYSC. Olujimi also contended that the suit was statute-barred, as it was not filed within the 14-day legal window for challenging the submission of a certificate. Furthermore, he argued the suit was incompetent, as Section 29(5) of the Electoral Act only permits aspirants who participated in a primary to challenge its outcome. He labeled the plaintiffs “mere busybodies” for meddling in another party’s affairs and noted the suit was improperly constituted for failing to join the National Assembly and Attorney-General.
The legal team urged Justice Inyang Ekwo to uphold the preliminary objections and dismiss the suit. The hearing is ongoing at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Unstoppable Force: Atiku’s Wife Declares Her Husband A Sellable Political Commodity, Vows He’s Not Coming To Loot.
Titi Atiku Abubakar, wife of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, has confidently declared her husband a “sellable material” and an experienced philanthropist who will not misappropriate public funds if elected in 2027.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Addressing the ADC All Support Groups Town Hall Meeting in Abuja on Thursday, Titi urged Nigerian youths to back Atiku, asserting that his leadership would be so impactful that Nigerians would demand a second term, despite his stated intention to serve only four years.
“Atiku is a sellable material,” she emphasized. “That is why I am so proud of my husband. Atiku is a philanthropist. Atiku has done it before. Atiku is not going to learn on the job. And Atiku is not a novice.”
Positioning her husband as a man of honour, she stated, “Atiku is not coming to chop government money. Atiku wants to give back to you people. Atiku wants you people to know what it is all about government.”
Titi also issued a strong call to action for youths to protect their votes and resist vote-buying. “ADC don’t have that money to give you. Don’t be a sellout. Because these people, they have all our money in their kitties,” she warned. “Don’t allow them to come and give you money and you sell your conscience. If you sell your vote, you are selling the vote of your generation yet unborn.”
The wife of the presidential hopeful was scathing in her criticism of the current state of Nigeria, describing the economy as being in “shambles” and asserting that the constitution and rule of law have collapsed.
“Now, today, we have no constitution. We have no rule of law. Nothing is working. Our economy is in shambles,” she said. Pointing to a lack of transparency in governance, she added, “Right from 2023 up to date, there is no budget in Nigeria. And I wonder how people are living. I wonder how people are eating.”
Concluding her address, she affirmed, “Atiku wants to put things right. We want to be like other nations, but here and now we don’t have anything at all. We are not proud of ourselves.“
