Nigerians React As Southeast Stakeholders In Anambra Worsen NNPP Crisis By Rejecting Kwankwaso....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The crisis in the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) leadership has intensified as Southeast stakeholders have declared that their presidential candidate from the February 25 election, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, is no longer affiliated with the party. This declaration was made during a meeting held on Sunday, October 29, in Awka, Anambra state, attended by stakeholders from Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Imo, and Ebonyi States. They also reaffirmed the dissolution of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) led by Kawu Ali.
The stakeholders alleged that Kwankwaso and members of his Kwankwasiya movement ceased to be associated with NNPP immediately after the conclusion of the February 25th, 2023 Presidential election. Consequently, they advised the public to refrain from engaging in any political activities with Kwankwaso and his group within the NNPP framework.
Furthermore, the Southeast leaders emphasized that the party’s founder of 21 years, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, remains the National leader of the party under the Chairmanship of Dr. Agbo Major. This decision was made following a resolution proposed by Hon Chief Ozeogu Stephen, the acting Ebonyi state chairman of NNPP, and seconded by Hon Nnani Emmanuel, the acting state publicity secretary of Imo state.

The leaders accused the current NWC and Kwankwaso of taking control of the party structure away from the original founders and failing to include the founder, Aniebonam, in the party’s decision-making processes.
Chief Felix Chukwurah, Deputy National Chairman of the Party, highlighted the challenges faced by NNPP and the need to resolve internal issues, stating the party’s determination to contest the forthcoming November 11th, 2023 Governorship election in Imo State. Chukwurah noted that NNPP was prepared to take over the Imo State Government House in that election.
