Breaking News: Chief Of Staff To The President, Femi Gbajabiamila, Faces Allegations Of Trading Government Appointments....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

There are indications that the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, may soon find himself in a precarious position following allegations that he has been involved in selling government appointments in the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu’s loyalists are becoming increasingly vocal in their demand to remove Gbajabiamila from the Presidential Villa. Notably, last week, the President appointed 10 Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), but it is alleged that most of the names initially approved by the President for appointments were later replaced by the Chief of Staff.
According to a reliable source, one instance of this was the substitution of the Ekiti REC’s name with that of a former commissioner under the previous Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi. The source explained that the REC initially nominated by Tinubu was Oluwatoyin Babalola, the former Legal Adviser of INEC. However, when the announcement was made, the President was informed that the appointed individual was not the one he had approved, leading to a confrontation with the Chief of Staff.
It is reported that the President expressed his frustration, stating that this was not the first time he had signed off on something, only to have it changed afterward. The President gave a stern warning and demanded that the woman’s name must be included in the list.
The source further revealed that there is a plan in motion to remove Gbajabiamila from the Presidential Villa, possibly by offering him an ambassadorial position. It is suggested that the President’s Private Principal Secretary (PPS), Akeem Okunola, has already taken over some of the Chief of Staff’s responsibilities.
Furthermore, the President is said to be assembling a team to assist with tasks that were previously managed by the Chief of Staff. The National Social Investments Programme (NSIP) issue is another point of contention, as it is claimed that Gbajabiamila appointed an individual different from Tinubu’s recommendation. To address these ongoing challenges, Tinubu is said to be forming an external team to work alongside the Chief of Staff to prevent further embarrassment.
