Renowned Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has officially become a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after her previous stint as the Rivers State deputy governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during the March 2023 gubernatorial elections.

The announcement of her affiliation with the APC took place at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, where she was introduced by the party’s National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile, and Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Duro Meseko. The news was shared via the APC ‘X’ account, previously known as Twitter, on Monday.

The post on the APC ‘X’ account read, “Tonto Dikeh, who previously contested as the Rivers State 2023 deputy governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress, was unveiled by the National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile, and Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Duro Meseko at the Party’s HQ.”
