Just In: Youth Tribute To Lekki Tollgate Tragedy Prompts Oby Ezekwesili’s Reaction In #EndSARS....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili, has marked the third anniversary of the #EndSARS protests by declaring, “It’s never over until it’s over,” while Nigerian youth commemorate the movement.
In October 2020, a groundswell of public outcry demanding an end to police brutality, extrajudicial killings, extortion, and abuse of power, particularly by officers of the now-disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), gained momentum.
The peaceful protest ultimately led to the federal government’s decision to disband SARS. However, it was brought to an abrupt halt on October 20 when Nigerian Army personnel fired upon the protesters, resulting in casualties and injuries.
Taking to her social media account on Friday, Ezekwesili called for a remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in 2020 while advocating for a well-governed country.
She wrote, “How can we ever forget 20-10-20? A historic day when the youth of our nation discovered and began to collectively embody the profound words of Franz Fanon, who stated: ‘Each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover its mission, fulfill it, or betray it.’
“On this third anniversary, we must never forget the heroic individuals who were killed, injured, and tortured simply because they dared to stand up and demand a well-governed country that upholds their constitutional rights. We must also never forget those who continue to persevere, having discovered their mission, and are paying the ongoing cost to see it through. It’s never over until it’s over.”

THE END OF THE ROAD! Dramatic Court Verdict Seals The Fate Of Two Die-Hard Cultists In Ogun!.

Case Background and Prosecution
The convicts were apprehended following a violent cult clash at the Ikenne Town Hall on October 23, 2023, which severely disrupted public peace and local activities.
Prosecuting officer ASP Olaide Rawlings established during the trial that Okusanya belonged to the Eiye Confraternity, while Gafar was affiliated with the Alora Confraternity, alongside other accomplices currently at large. Their actions violated several provisions of the Prohibition of Forcible Entry and Occupation of Landed Properties, Armed Robbery, Cultism, Kidnapping and Other Anti-Violent and Related Offences Law of Ogun State, 2016.
Finding the prosecution’s evidence credible and compelling beyond a reasonable doubt, Magistrate Oke delivered the sentence to serve as a strict deterrent against unlawful secret societies and violent disturbances in the state.
