Kenny Ogungbe, the chairman of Kennis Music and Kennis FM, has successfully completed his one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. Ogungbe took to his social media platforms to share photos from his Passing Out Parade (POP), which took place on Thursday, October 12, 2023, alongside other Nigerian youths.
The mandatory one-year service for the Batch C stream came to an end on October 12th. The 52-year-old music mogul shared images of himself and fellow NYSC members, expressing gratitude to God for a year of dedicated service to his beloved nation.

He wrote, “NYSC GRADUATION/POP TODAY. Lagos/12C. Graduation Day. To God Be The Glory.”
In a separate development, up-and-coming Nigerian singer Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, also known as Khaid, has revealed the reasons behind his conversion from Islam to Christianity. During a recent interview, the young artist explained that despite being born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother, he felt a stronger connection to Christianity.
Khaid, who will turn 19 years old in December, recounted his experiences of being urged by his father to attend the mosque during his early years. He noted that he attended the mosque to please his father and to avoid potential neighborhood gossip about his child adopting Christianity since his father was a Muslim.
