The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), for echoing what it describes as a script allegedly authored in part by his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar. Obi had challenged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s identity and academic record at a press briefing in Abuja.

Items recovered from him included two knives, two mobile phones, a UBA ATM card, and ₦20,250. Identification parades confirmed him as one of the abductors.
