Military Apprehends Three Escaped Prisoners And Ten More In Just One Week....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Troops from Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) have successfully recaptured three escapees from a prison break in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State that occurred between October 3 and 9. Additionally, they apprehended ten other individuals related to activities such as kidnapping, prison breaks, cattle rustling, and recovered arms, ammunition, and illicit drugs.

The escaped prisoners, namely Chekirmak Tapir, Senmacong Tapir, and Swaroong Tapir, were apprehended in Barkin Ciyawa, Qua’pan Local Government Area of Plateau State. Moreover, the troops thwarted an attack on Washina and Razak villages in Mangu and Barkin Ladi councils, engaging in a gun battle with the assailants and causing them to retreat, with one of them being captured.

In another operation, the tactical team of Operation SAFE HAVEN arrested a well-known kidnapper, Buba Ibrahim, in Tilden Fulani Village, Toro council of Bauchi State, and recovered a Baretta pistol from him.

Furthermore, an individual named Williams Seaman was apprehended in connection with an attack on Nanbak Ayuba’s residence in Shorom village, Bokkos council, and one locally-made pistol, two rounds, and an empty 9mm casing were seized.

In total, the operations led to 13 arrests, the rescue of four victims from kidnappers, the arrest of a cattle rustler, the apprehension of seven drug peddlers, and the prevention of two attacks on vulnerable communities during the specified time frame.
