“President Tinubu commends the royal father for his unwavering service to the nation. After retiring from the NCS in 2008 following over 30 years of dedicated service, he readily accepted the call to serve his people in 2009, bringing to the revered throne his wealth of experience and a legacy of public service achievements.

“The President highlights the wisdom, maturity, and foresight of the traditional ruler as remarkable qualities that have enabled him to consistently promote good neighborliness, harmony, and unity in nation-building.
