Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, known by his stage name Mr. Eazi, is a Nigerian musician who reveals that his entry into the music industry was accidental and driven by boredom with his previous career.
The artist behind the hit track “Patek” confessed that he never initially intended to pursue a music career; rather, he stumbled into it. He shared that after his performance at Coachella in 2019, he realized he needed a change.
During a recent interview with media personality Angela Lee, Mr. Eazi made these revelations. He explained that he decided to diversify into the tech industry to alleviate the burnout he was experiencing in the music field.

Reflecting on his music journey, which began three years earlier, the mechanical engineer acknowledged that he had contemplated quitting because, following his Coachella performance, he felt unfulfilled.
He stated, “I have a tech company called Zagadat Capital, and this came about because I was growing weary of the music scene. After my performance at Coachella in 2019, where I played on the first day, I came off the stage and felt nothing—neither happiness nor sadness.”
“For someone who never aspired to be an artist and, in my third year of my music career, was performing at Coachella and still felt nothing, it was a sign that I needed to either leave the music industry and pursue something else or take a break. Perhaps I was experiencing burnout. When COVID-19 hit, it was the first time I took a pause and contemplated my next move.”
Mr. Eazi elaborated on his transition into entrepreneurship, saying, “I had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, and my involvement in the music industry provided me with access to people and capital. Therefore, I decided to launch my fund, similar to what Jay-Z has done.”
Additionally, the “Skin Tight” singer disclosed his plans to venture into the movie industry starting from the following year.

He reaffirmed that the police are determined to deny these groups the resources and support networks they need to operate.
The police have encouraged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help security agencies disrupt these criminal networks and prevent future attacks.

Supported by the House of Representatives Minority Caucus, acting National Chairman Peter Ameh argued that the current administration has failed to produce the necessary results for good governance. The statement emphasized that leadership is a responsibility rather than a right, suggesting that the honorable path for an official who cannot alleviate citizens’ suffering is to step down.
