UFC’s Perspective On Israel Adesanya vs. Strickland Rematch Challenges
UFC’s Perspective On Israel Adesanya vs. Strickland Rematch Challenges....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

UFC President Dana White has expressed skepticism regarding the proposed title rematch between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland. Strickland caused a major upset in August when he defeated Israel Adesanya, the UFC star hailing from Nigeria and Australia, to claim the middleweight title.
Originally, there were plans for Adesanya to have an immediate rematch with Strickland, but that may not be set in stone anymore. White addressed the media during the Contender Series press conference on Wednesday, emphasizing that another emerging contender in the same weight class could potentially enter the title picture.

White stated, “I mean, the Strickland vs. Adesanya fight just took place. We have a few other fights scheduled over the next month or so, and after that, we will assess the situation and determine the next steps.” He added, “We’ll consider various factors like injuries, fighter availability, timing, and location to determine the best fight to make moving forward.”
In the UFC middleweight division, several top fighters are vying for a chance at the title. Dricus du Plessis currently holds the undisputed championship, having triumphed over all six of his opponents in the octagon. Earlier this year, Du Plessis was originally set to face Israel Adesanya, but an injury forced him to withdraw, allowing Strickland to step in as a replacement.
Now, there’s a possibility that the South African fighter, Du Plessis, could rise above other contenders and earn a shot at Strickland, the newly crowned division champion. Furthermore, key matchups scheduled for later this year, such as Roman Dolidze facing the fourth-ranked Jared Cannonier on December 2, and Khamzat Chimaev’s return to the middleweight class against Paulo Costa later this month, could significantly impact the division’s future. Chimaev, with aspirations to win UFC 294 on October 21 and secure a title opportunity, has already issued a challenge to the current champion.
