Atiku Mobilizes Opposition Leaders As APC Suggests He Face Reality....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Former Vice President and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, reiterated yesterday that the nation must prioritize integrity, morality, and justice in its public life to advance. Atiku made these remarks during a press conference in Abuja following the revelations regarding President Bola Tinubu’s academic records released by Chicago State University. He emphasized that Nigeria’s reputation was on the line.

Atiku also stressed that the institutions responsible for verifying the credibility of candidates’ certificates for public office should not take an excessive amount of time to perform their duties. He called on other political leaders, including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), to join the campaign for transparency, accountability, and ethical principles in the country’s government.

Although Atiku and Peter Obi’s petitions against Tinubu’s election were dismissed at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), Atiku continued to pursue the academic records issue in a U.S. court. The court eventually ordered the release of official documents to Atiku for inclusion in his Supreme Court appeal.

Atiku emphasized that this pursuit is not just about him but is a quest for truth, morality, and accountability in public affairs. He called on all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations or backgrounds, to join the effort to promote integrity and justice in the country’s government.

In response to claims that pursuing the case is a betrayal of his past political ally, Tinubu, Atiku pointed out that he had supported Tinubu’s second term as Lagos State governor in 2003 and that their political relationship ended in 2007 due to disagreements over a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

Atiku vowed to continue pursuing the case in the Supreme Court and expressed no fear that his businesses would be taken away from him, as he believed they had already been taken by the Buhari administration.

Regarding the discrepancies in Tinubu’s academic records, Atiku’s lawyer, Barr Kalu Kalu, argued that these inconsistencies could be used in the Supreme Court, as long as certain conditions are met, and emphasized that a party at fault should not be allowed to benefit from their wrongdoing.

In response to Atiku’s statements, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) urged him to accept his defeat gracefully, emphasizing that Nigerians had rejected him at the polls. The party stated that President Tinubu had been elected by Nigerians to address various challenges facing the country.

The Labour Party (LP) also called on Atiku to join their efforts to reclaim what they consider their stolen electoral mandate, emphasizing the importance of justice and integrity in leadership.

In summary, Atiku Abubakar emphasized the need for integrity, morality, and justice in public life, continuing his pursuit of transparency regarding President Tinubu’s academic records. He called on all Nigerians and political leaders to join in promoting these principles in the government.
