Amaechi’s Alliances In Rivers State Exposed By APC Chieftain....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has strongly refuted claims suggesting that former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, is undermining the interests of President Bola Tinubu and the party in Rivers State.

Eze also dismissed reports alleging that Amaechi had instructed the people of the state to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 elections.

In a statement issued on Friday, Eze responded to accusations made by another party leader in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, during a recent visit to the party’s national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje. Eze argued that those leveling allegations against Amaechi were engaged in a smear campaign for political gain.

Furthermore, Eze clarified that there was no agreement between Amaechi and Atiku, and prior to the 2023 elections, the former Minister had never directed his supporters to work against Tinubu.

Eze pointed out that Okocha was no longer a member of the APC and therefore did not possess inside knowledge of the party’s internal operations. He alleged that Okocha and his associates launched a media offensive because Ganduje did not endorse their efforts to engage in character assassination against Amaechi and the mainstream APC state executive in Rivers.

Eze claimed, “Okocha and his team were disappointed when Abdullahi Ganduje cautioned them not to inflame tensions and instead advised the party’s central leadership to develop strategies to ease tensions and resolve all issues affecting the party in the state before forming a new party structure.”
