No Room For Bitterness In Presidential Race, Says Adebayo....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The 2023 presidential hopeful of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Adewole Adebayo, has offered advice to fellow politicians with presidential aspirations, urging them to refrain from engaging in acrimonious politics.
In a recent statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Adebayo emphasized the importance of politicians treating their rivals with respect, fairness, and dignity. He shared that whenever he observes President Bola Tinubu occupying the presidential seat, he wishes himself in that position, but he has no reason to harbor ill intentions toward the incumbent.

Adebayo conveyed his message in this manner: “Aspiring candidates for the highest office in Nigeria should take a page from Senator John McCain’s playbook, who openly defended Obama when some bitter Republicans resorted to mudslinging regarding Obama’s nationality, qualifications, and eligibility. McCain firmly put an end to such tactics.
“It’s vital to understand that no amount of negative talk, animosity, or hostility can lead anyone to the Presidency. We must elevate our political discourse and accord our opponents the respect, fairness, and decency they deserve. Every time I see @officialABAT in the presidential seat, I may wish it were me, but there is no reason to wish harm upon anyone.”
