Presidential Statement Addresses Allegations Of Tinubu Submitting Forged Certificate To INEC
Presidential Statement Addresses Allegations Of Tinubu Submitting Forged Certificate To INEC....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The presidency has refuted allegations that President Bola Tinubu’s certificate, submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2023 presidential election, is counterfeit.
Temitope Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, issued a statement on Wednesday addressing the controversy. According to Ajayi, there is no indication in the deposition made by the Chicago State University (CSU) that the institution acknowledged President Tinubu’s certificate as fake.
Ajayi further argued that the university, under oath, affirmed that Tinubu attended and graduated from the institution, emphasizing that the university does not handle replacements for lost certificates.
This statement comes in response to reports suggesting that Chicago State University testified that the Nigerian President presented a forged degree certificate to INEC when he filed his candidacy papers in June 2022.
Ajayi, however, countered these claims, asserting that it makes no sense for President Tinubu to submit a fake certificate to INEC because a person cannot forge academic records they already possess, stating, “You can only forge what you don’t have.”
