The monarch publicly acknowledged the invaluable support and role that his brother had played in his life, emphasizing that Senator Kola Balogun had been a constant source of support through various challenges. Oba Balogun praised his brother’s exceptional attention and care for his well-being, asserting that he ranked above all his children in this regard.

He stated, “My attention has been drawn to the various grievous allegations leveled against my dear, loving, and only surviving brother, Dr. Sen. Mohammed Kolawole Balogun, by some of my children, led by Aremo Femi Balogun, which I’m aware has gone viral.”

Oba Balogun expressed his regret that the allegations lacked any element of truth, and he deemed them baseless and unfounded. He characterized the motives behind such accusations as defamatory and aimed at tarnishing his brother’s character.

The Olubadan acknowledged that family differences were natural but emphasized that they should not escalate to the point of damaging each other’s reputations. He regarded the publication of these allegations as criminal defamation of character and a breach of public peace.

He pleaded with his brother not to take offense at his nephew, understanding that the accusations might have arisen from ignorance and youthful exuberance. Oba Balogun concluded by stating his strong disapproval of such dishonorable and disparaging actions within the family, stating his willingness to disown any child or wife who engaged in such behavior.
