Rescue Nigeria Network Urge Government To Free Nnamdi Kanu For South-East Development....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Rescue Nigeria Global Network (RNGN) has called upon the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in order to promote development and quell criminal activities in the South-East region.
Dr. Michael Chukwujekwu, the Global Coordinator of RNGN, has emphasized that the Federal Government should seriously consider freeing Kanu to prevent criminal factions from exploiting his detention as an excuse for perpetuating crime and insecurity in the area.
Chukwujekwu, in a statement issued from the United Kingdom and made available to NAN, expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s continued detention of the IPOB leader. He argued that many lives and properties have been lost due to this prolonged detention.

“Regrettably, despite the end of Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not been released, despite court rulings in his favor,” Chukwujekwu lamented.
He questioned the need for the legislators at the National Assembly to take action if both the executive and judiciary have played their roles in this matter.
Chukwujekwu stressed the importance of upholding the rule of law in Nigeria and urged the government to proactively release Kanu. He warned that inaction could be seen as enabling the disruptive sit-at-home protests, which are detrimental to the business, education, industry, economy, and development of the South-East and Nigeria as a whole.
He further questioned whether arresting or extraditing Simon Ekpa, who is accused of inciting the sit-at-home protests, would truly resolve the underlying issues. Chukwujekwu called for a deeper examination of the root causes of the sit-at-home protests and urged Nigeria and the Igbo people to address these issues urgently to restore peace and stability to the South-East region.
