Wike Allegedly Resigns From PDP Membership....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to a report from ThisDay, there has been widespread speculation regarding the potential departure of Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, from his long-standing membership in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and a potential alignment with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The report suggests that the former Rivers state governor may have discreetly transitioned to the APC without public acknowledgment. Speculations indicate that the reason for keeping this move under wraps is to maintain an element of ambiguity and continue influencing the PDP’s outcomes, which some have referred to as causing “collateral damage.”

Wike, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, has been a steadfast PDP member for many years and has played a significant role within the party’s hierarchy. His leadership in Rivers state has been characterized by robust and vocal opposition to the APC-led federal government.

If the reported party switch turns out to be true, it could have significant implications for the political landscape not only in Rivers state but also beyond its borders. However, it’s important to note that these speculations remain unverified, and no official statements have been made by Wike or the political parties involved.
