Idimogu conveyed that there is growing optimism among Nigerians who are realizing that they made the right choice in voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He pointed out that the current momentum in the country’s fiscal and monetary policies, driven by strategic decisions made under President Tinubu’s leadership, has the potential to significantly revive the economy in a short span.

Idimogu’s motivation to support President Tinubu and the APC stems from the outstanding qualities he observes in Tinubu, particularly his unwavering political determination to make tough and necessary decisions—a trait not always found in leaders. He mentioned that he collaborated with Ambassador Ginika Tor, the founder of the Igbo Kwenu 4Asiwaju Presidential Campaign group, which is an Igbo campaign organization within the APC advocating for the election of Ahmed Bola Tinubu as President and a Federal Character Commissioner for Enugu State.

He shared that the group actively campaigned for Tinubu’s presidential bid in various states across the country, including Kano, Nasarawa, Abuja, Enugu, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Yobe, Cross River, and Lagos.

Furthermore, Idimogu, serving as the Southwest Coordinator of the group, facilitated the donation of a building by Igbo Community Leader Chief Leo Okafor to the Igbo Kwenu 4Asiwaju campaign group. Okafor emphasized the importance of the Igbo community’s involvement in Nigerian politics and expressed his support for efforts to elevate the Igbo within the APC.

Idimogu clarified that the donation aimed to help the Igbo community in Lagos unite and work towards promoting the Asiwaju/Shetima cause, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the national level represented by the APC.

Regarding his political aspirations, Idimogu stated that his primary calling is to serve humanity, and he views a political position as a more effective platform for serving the people. He affirmed his willingness to offer himself for service if called upon for any appointment.

The Federal Character Commissioner also encouraged Ndigbo (Igbo people) to continue supporting the APC, while Ambassador Ginika Tor commended Idimogu for his extensive campaign efforts, assuring him of future rewards at either the federal or state level for his contributions to the party in Lagos State.
