Prominent hip-hop artist Davido, along with several of his industry peers, gathered on September 21 to pay their respects to the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, known as MohBad.
The mourners, many of whom were wearing customized tee-shirts bearing the late singer’s name, assembled on the streets of Lekki in Lagos state.
A circulating video on the internet captured the moments when fans enthusiastically cheered for Davido as he led the procession.
In the meantime, Bella Shmurda, a close friend and frequent collaborator of MohBad, expressed his gratitude to all those who participated in the memorial procession for the late singer.
On his social media handle, he wrote: “Shout out to everyone who attended Mohbad’s candlelight vigil. You are all truly blessed. I deeply appreciate your support.”
Other celebrities who were present at the procession included Falz and Zlatan.
