The fraudster was driving to a destination in Obiaruku around 5.20pm on Friday, October 28, when five police officers on a stop-and-search duty flagged him down.
Instead of parking, the suspect fled as police officers, suspicious of his actions, pursued him and caught up with him.
According to a resident who asked not to be identified for security reasons, the policemen discovered a note specifying the need for human parts while searching the vehicle.
The note stated that the man should provide a human head, hand, and leg.
After retrieving the note, the officers inquired as to what he intended to use the specified items for, and he replied, “Something,” out of fear.
“So, the policemen launched a full investigation by visiting the Obiaruku Police Station to obtain a warrant to search his three-bedroom flat, and while searching his house, they discovered another written note requesting the same items as the first written note found in his car,” the resident added.
According to the source, after the police discovered the notes, they detained the suspect, and during interrogation, Ike requested human parts.
He explained that the next day, the suspect led police to the herbalist’s location, where a decomposing body was discovered beside a fish pond.
“The herbalist used nylon to cover the corpse, and because the corpse was close to the fish pond, no one noticed the smell due to the odor around the fish pond.”
“Police officers took the Yahoo boy and the herbalist to the station and transferred them to the state command for further investigation,” the source added.
