‘Atiku Is Pained Tinubu Outsmarted Him’ – Keyamo Speaks On 2023 Presidential Election.

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has accused African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar of harbouring hostility towards President Bola Tinubu out of bitterness over his political defeat.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

News reports that Keyamo, in a statement issued on Friday night, described Atiku’s recent criticisms of Tinubu as signs of what he called “agitated depression” arising from political disappointment.

The minister argued that Atiku was troubled by the fact that Tinubu secured the presidency on his first attempt, despite both politicians having pursued lengthy political careers with presidential ambitions.

Recalling their political histories, Keyamo noted that Tinubu was governor of Lagos State while Atiku served as Vice President of Nigeria. He claimed that Atiku was widely regarded at the time as being ahead of Tinubu in the political hierarchy of those seeking the presidency.

Keyamo added that both politicians had pursued their presidential ambitions through different political paths since leaving their respective offices in 2007, sometimes working together and at other times taking opposing positions.

According to the minister, Tinubu’s eventual emergence as president, after years of political manoeuvring, was a source of frustration for Atiku, who has sought the presidency since 1993.

Keyamo also urged people close to the former vice president to support him rather than encourage his public criticisms of Tinubu. He warned that Atiku’s recent political posture could cost him supporters.

Citing Ecclesiastes 9:11 from the Bible, the minister argued that political success depends not only on personal ability but also on timing and circumstances.

The statement read: “It is now very obvious that Atiku Abubakar @atiku is a pained and very bitter fellow. The pain and bitterness stems from the fact that he feels President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT finally outsmarted him politically to get the most coveted position of President and he can’t mentally deal with this fact.

“What we are witnessing with all his recent tantrums against Mr. President, veiled as opposition heroics, is actually a higher form of DEPRESSION in the field of mental health called AGITATED DEPRESSION.”

Keyamo further stated that Tinubu’s victory came through a combination of political skill, circumstances and what he described as divine intervention.

He maintained that political power ultimately comes from God rather than human efforts alone, adding that Atiku should reflect on this principle despite his recent criticisms of the President.

The minister also appealed to Atiku’s associates not to encourage what he described as his public outbursts, arguing that such conduct could undermine his political standing.

Keyamo concluded by asserting that the former vice president needed support at this stage of his political career, predicting that he risked losing more supporters as he approached what the minister described as “political oblivion.”

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has praised the midfield partnership between Moisés Caicedo and Jordan Henderson following the Blues’ emphatic 5-1 victory over Bournemouth in the English Premier League (EPL) on Saturday.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Alonso said the pair brought stability, balance and a better understanding of the game to Chelsea’s midfield, an area that had attracted concerns ahead of the encounter.

Henderson and Morgan Rogers both scored twice, while João Pedro also found the net as Chelsea returned from the international break with a commanding victory.

Speaking during his post-match press conference, Alonso was asked about the performance of Caicedo and Henderson and how effectively they worked together in midfield.

The Spanish tactician explained that although the two players possessed different qualities and positional attributes, they complemented each other well on the pitch.

“Both, in terms of qualities, are different, and in terms of positioning as well. I think that they help each other well and they give presence, they give stability.

“You know that they are going to be the ones that are going to be helping the rest, not just for their qualities because they understand the game.

“They can play in shorter spaces, but as well defensively, they give good balance,” Alonso said.

The Chelsea boss emphasised that strengthening the midfield was essential to the team’s continued development. He added that Caicedo and Henderson would be key figures in his efforts to establish a more effective unit.

“For me, it’s fundamental that we get that area strong and for sure with Moisés, Hendo played today, it was his second game,” he added.

Alonso also identified Romeo Lavia, Reece James and Valentin Barco as players who could provide additional options in midfield.

According to the manager, Lavia has already made useful contributions, while James has also featured in the middle of the park on several occasions.

Alonso said Chelsea would continue working to improve the department as he seeks to create a more balanced, dependable and competitive midfield capable of supporting the team’s ambitions.

Responding to a question about what could inspire hope among young Nigerians building their careers in the country, the actress said she continued to see opportunities in Nigeria despite the challenges confronting the nation.

She explained that her previous experience living in the United States had not diminished her desire to remain in Nigeria, which she considers home.

“For me to be here for so many years, first of all, I have to be authentic to who I am. If you lie, you keep having to remember the lies, if you tell the truth, it’s easy.”
