The appointments, which were announced through an official statement, are designed to drive the campaign’s “Reset Nigeria” agenda nationwide and secure victory at the polls. Hyat brings a wealth of political experience to the role, having previously served as the Minister of State for Aviation and as the Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
To strengthen the operational backbone of the campaign, Governor Makinde also appointed former Minister of Women Affairs Hajia Inna Ciroma as the Deputy Director-General for Administration, alongside Dr. Anthony Aziegbemi as the Deputy Director-General for Operations. According to the campaign organization, this core leadership team combines extensive backgrounds in political administration, grassroots mobilization, and strategic planning.
The newly structured national campaign team will work hand in hand with key party stakeholders, including the APM National Leader and Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, as well as the party’s National Chairman, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle.
