They Abuse Tinubu On Social Media Like Kindergarten Fighting Over Groundnuts – APC Chieftain Mocks Opposition
Bankole Oluwajana, a former National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that there is no formidable opposition heading into the 2027 general election. Speaking during an interview with Punch, Oluwajana claimed that President Bola Tinubu has effectively secured victory ahead of time, dismissing the opposition’s strategy as being limited to social media squabbles.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to Oluwajana, the opposition lacks the requisite structure to mount a serious challenge, describing their understanding of campaigning as merely hurling abuses at President Tinubu online “like kindergarten fighting over a bar of chocolate or groundnuts.” He further categorized opposition presidential candidates into three distinct groups: dreamers misled by prophets, serial contenders comprising strange bedfellows united mainly by anger or envy toward Tinubu, and unduly ambitious individuals lacking structure who mistakenly believe public upheaval will hand them power.
Citing specific alliances, he questioned how figures like former Governor Rauf Aregbesola could align politically with figures like David Mark and Atiku Abubakar, calling such a combination a disjointed concoction.
Defending the current administration, Oluwajana praised President Tinubu’s economic policies, specifically the removal of the fuel subsidy and the deregulation of the naira, framing them as essential steps toward restructuring Nigeria for long-term growth and stability. He maintained that any operational lapses are not intentional and that policies like naira deregulation have successfully flipped trade dynamics, enabling Nigerians to travel abroad to sell goods and return with empty boxes rather than draining the economy with foreign imports.

The Ultimate Political Crackdown: Rivers ADC Drops Massive Bombshell And Demands Immediate Probe Into Shocking Arrest Of Members!.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is urgently demanding a comprehensive investigation into the police raid of a consultative meeting in Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State. The party has called for the immediate and unconditional release of three members—Confidence Amadi, Chikezie Justice, and Isaiah Thomas—who were arrested during the incident and subsequently accused of cultism.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to a statement released on Saturday by ADC Rivers State Publicity Secretary, Chizy Enyi, the meeting was convened by Jeffrey Wobodo, the party’s House of Assembly candidate for Ikwerre, to discuss upcoming campaign activities. The ADC alleges that officers of the Nigeria Police Force and members of the OSPAC vigilante group violently disrupted the gathering, assaulting participants, seizing mobile phones, and causing multiple injuries.
Furthermore, the party claims that when Jeffrey Wobodo attempted to secure bail for the detainees, the Isiokpo Area Commander, ACP Felix Ojiaku, stated that the men would be charged with cultism due to an “order from above.” The ADC has strongly condemned this rationale, asserting that “political opposition is not cultism” and that peaceful political participation is a constitutional right, not a criminal offense.
The ADC is also calling attention to a pattern of intimidation against opposition figures in the region. They have highlighted a prior incident where the home of arrested member Isaiah Thomas was allegedly attacked and set ablaze by individuals linked to OSPAC and a former LGA Chairman, following a political gathering. The party is urging the Inspector-General of Police, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, and the National Human Rights Commission to intervene immediately. They are demanding a full investigation into the conduct of the security personnel involved, the actions of the vigilante group, and the motivations behind these politically charged arrests, warning that such actions threaten the democratic process ahead of the 2027 elections.

The Grand Defiance: Governor Alia Slams Opposition And Declares His Monumental Projects Will Guarantee 2027 Success!.
Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has expressed confidence that his administration’s development initiatives and economic reforms will pave the way for his re-election in 2027. Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Kula Tersoo, on Sunday, Governor Alia dismissed concerns about opposition criticism, calling on political detractors to cease distractions and allow his government to focus on governance.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Alia cited several key achievements, including a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hudson Global Ltd aimed at securing a $5 billion investment to revolutionize the state’s economy. He also pointed to extensive ongoing road infrastructure projects in both rural and urban areas, as well as significant improvements in worker welfare, consistent salary and pension payments, and the establishment of the Food Basket Bakery.
Furthermore, the governor emphasized that his administration has successfully restored financial accountability and transparency, resulting in recognized improvements in Benue’s creditworthiness and an enhanced environment for attracting investors, validated by international audit certifications.
In a separate development, former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has publicly challenged Governor Alia to provide a comprehensive account of how the state utilized the estimated ₦1.2 trillion received from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) following the removal of the fuel subsidy. Ortom’s media aide, Terver Akase, argued that despite these unprecedented inflows, there is a lack of visible government projects across the state’s 23 local government areas.
Responding to these demands, Governor Alia’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, defended the administration’s record, stating that the current government’s performance speaks for itself, particularly in contrast to the tenure of the former governor.
