‘My Dad Was K!lled, My Inheritance Stolen By His Wife’ – Ubiribo’s Son (Video)
Junior Ubiribo, the son of the late Nigerian-British businessman and social media personality Igho Ubiribo—widely known as Tiny—has released a video questioning the official narrative surrounding his father’s death in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 6. While a British coroner determined that the 43-year-old died from a pulmonary embolism triggered by hyaluronic acid during a cosmetic procedure, Junior vehemently rejected this explanation, asserting that the family was left in the dark and only learned details when the story hit the public sphere.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Levelling serious allegations, Junior claimed his father was killed, pointing to supposed injuries—such as a missing eyeball and a gashing forehead—that he argued could not result from a cosmetic procedure, though he presented no medical records or physical evidence to substantiate these claims. Furthermore, he directed accusations at his father’s partner, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen, referring to her as a “so-called wife” and alleging that she kept the family uninformed prior to Ubiribo’s burial in May. Junior also claimed that his father’s properties and luxury watches were illicitly moved to South Africa, resulting in the theft of his inheritance. Concluding his message, Junior condemned social media users for making light of the situation, paid tribute to his father’s fearless legacy, and expressed hope that his memory would no longer be defiled.

“ADEKUNLE GOLD DROPS BOMBSHELL: WHY MARRYING SIMI ALMOST DIDN’T HAPPEN!”
Nigerian recording artist Adekunle Gold recently disclosed that he would not have married fellow singer and wife, Simi, had she possessed the SS genotype. Speaking on the One 54 podcast, the ‘Many People’ crooner stressed the critical necessity of genotype awareness and compatibility testing prior to entering into romantic relationships or starting a family. He pointed out that bringing a child into the world with sickle cell disease—a hereditary blood disorder causing red blood cells to adopt a rigid, crescent shape and trigger severe health complications—is impractical when couples are incompatible.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Recalling the early stages of their relationship, Adekunle Gold shared that they underwent a genotype test immediately after meeting to verify their medical compatibility. Because his wife is of the AA genotype, they matched successfully. He firmly noted that had the test yielded an incompatible result, he would not have proceeded with the marriage, underscoring that prioritizing genetic alignment is essential to preventing children from suffering through avoidable health challenges.

Spanning over ten years, Dara’s professional career bridges advanced technical cinematography, video editing, and immersive multimedia storytelling. Through his leadership at Ibumedia, he has successfully steered numerous cross-sectoral creative projects, cementing the agency’s footprint in Nigeria’s multimedia ecosystem. Beyond commercial media, his portfolio includes impactful international collaborations such as the United Nations Youth Climate Change Video Project, alongside his role as a Multimedia Storytelling Trainer for the Nigeria Climate Change Response Programme (NCCRP) journalism capacity-building workshops.
This accolade from SONTA heralds an exciting new trajectory for the alumnus of performing arts, who now intends to scale up his cinematic footprint through More Brains Film. This specialized film venture aims to pivot more intentionally toward narrative screen productions, deeply resonating with the SONTA conference’s core focus on leveraging African indigenous systems and sustainable creative futures. Rather than merely increasing output, Dara’s upcoming cinematic phase is dedicated to enriching Nigeria’s film culture and championing authentic African narratives on larger platforms.
Expressing deep gratitude to the organizers, Dara specifically thanked the Department of Performing Arts, Music & Film Studies at Lead City University, as well as the Local Organising Committee spearheaded by Dr. Adebayo Badeji. As Ibumedia continues its multimedia operations alongside the growth of More Brains Film, this SONTA honor serves as both a validation of his past milestones and a powerful launchpad for his future cinematic ambitions.

Massive Digital Blow! TikTok Permanently Terminates Carter Efe’s Account With Over Five Million Followers!
Popular Nigerian skit maker Oderhowho Joseph Efe, widely known as Carter Efe, has suffered a permanent ban on his official TikTok account following multiple violations of the platform’s community guidelines.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The permanent restriction, which was confirmed on Wednesday, resulted in the complete removal of an account boasting over 5.6 million followers and more than 158 million cumulative likes. This page served as a primary outlet for the creator to publish comedy skits, promote musical projects, and engage directly with his fanbase via live streams.
This incident marks the second time the comedian has lost a major presence on the platform. Back in June 2025, TikTok took down a previous account of his holding approximately 3.5 million followers following a public controversy over remarks he directed at Nigerian music star Wizkid during a livestream. Although he later apologized and successfully rebuilt a new audience past the 5.6 million mark, the latest enforcement action has permanently erased that page.
In a separate development, Carter Efe recently addressed the reasons behind his decision to stop producing relationship-themed content with his ex-girlfriend. Speaking during an episode of Cocktails & Takeaways, the comedian opened up about his previous collaborative videos and the distinct hurdles he faced while filming alongside his former partner.
