KANO POLITICAL EARTHQUAKE: The Last Standing Opposition Lawmaker Abandons Ship And Defects To The APC In Massive Blow!
In a significant political realignment, Senator Rufa’i Hanga, the sole opposition lawmaker from Kano State in the Senate, has officially defected from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The lawmaker, representing Kano Central, was welcomed into the APC on Saturday at a massive mega rally held at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. The event was attended by a host of high-profile political figures, including APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, and former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
The defection was marked by a massive show of support, with Senator Hanga joined by an estimated 136,000 followers and numerous other political leaders from various parties. Key figures listed among the defectors by Hassan Tukur, senior special assistant on new media to the Kano governor, include former Senator Kabiru Gaya, former NNPP factional chairman; Ali Datti Yako, Kano NDC vice-chairman; Badaru Umar, former Ungogo LGA chairman; Isyaku Danja, former speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly; and Yusuf Danbatta, former PDP deputy governorship candidate.
During the rally, the APC also formally unveiled the Tinubu Support Group, the campaign structure dedicated to President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
Speaking on the occasion, former Governor Ganduje framed the mass defection as a clear endorsement of President Tinubu’s “renewed hope agenda.” He stated, “We are not surprised because Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a progressive leader who has the foresight to look into the future for the sustainable development of our country.”

THE BRUTAL TRUTH: Datti Baba-Ahmed Drops Political Bombshell, Says No Candidate—Not Even Peter Obi—Can Fix Nigeria!
During a recent appearance on the Mic On Podcast, former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate Datti Baba-Ahmed delivered a candid and startling assessment of the nation’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections, asserting that no single presidential contender—not even his former principal, Peter Obi—possesses the capacity to singularly improve Nigeria. Elaborating on his shifting political alliances and the broader trajectory of the opposition, Datti reflected on Obi’s departure from the Labour Party—where he had been firmly established and adopted as a presidential candidate as early as 2024—to pitch his tent with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Recounting a strategic encounter prior to Obi’s transition, Datti described pulling his former running mate aside at the Yar’Adua Centre to warn him against making the move, cautioning that the new political platform was unsuited for him. According to Datti, that private counsel was ultimately vindicated when Obi exited the ADC within a brief four-month window. Emphasizing his aversion to political inconsistency and self-contradiction, Datti deliberately bypassed a deeper critique of Atiku Abubakar’s political maneuvers, choosing instead to focus his critique on the systemic limitations facing the entire crop of 2027 hopefuls.

COME TO EQUITY: Ruling Party Heavyweight Drops Epic Lesson On Atiku In Brutal 2027 Face-Off!.
All Progressives Congress (APC) foundation member Osita Okechukwu asserted on Sunday that African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has neglected a foundational principle, remarking that those who reside in glass houses ought to avoid throwing stones. Okechukwu’s remarks came in response to a petition filed with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma, which asks for previous allegations against Atiku to be reopened or for clarification regarding why the case was formerly closed.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The former Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON) stated that had Atiku considered this age-old lesson, he might have exercised more restraint instead of deploying a barrage of political attacks against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which allegedly includes retaining the expensive US lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York, L.L.C. Emphasizing that crime is not statute-barred and that past issues can resurface unexpectedly, Okechukwu invoked the legal maxim that anyone seeking equity must approach it with clean hands. He noted that while a Lagos High Court previously dismissed the matter, Agbonayinma’s high-profile money-laundering petition has effectively revived a two-decade-old frozen case, creating an image gridlock for Atiku, the EFCC, and the nation regardless of the final outcome.
Denying that his comments were intended to shield President Tinubu, Okechukwu clarified that he was merely advising political actors to steer clear of grandstanding and refocus their efforts on addressing critical issues such as lifting millions out of poverty.

THE 2027 SMEAR CAMPAIGN: APC Chieftain Oyintiloye Accuses Opposition Of Desperately Recycling Old Allegations Against Tinubu!.
All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has slammed opposition politicians for repeatedly recycling stale allegations against President Bola Tinubu as the 2027 general elections approach. Speaking to journalists in Osogbo on Sunday, Oyintiloye dismissed claims that the United States has reopened a drug-trafficking case against the President as mere political propaganda, emphasizing that no American court has ordered a criminal retrial or pronounced President Tinubu guilty.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Clarifying the nature of the ongoing public discourse, the former lawmaker explained that the current controversy stems from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit focused purely on gaining access to records held by US law-enforcement agencies, which must not be misconstrued as a criminal proceeding or judicial declaration of guilt. He noted that the presence of records within agencies like the FBI or DEA does not equate to proof of criminality, as investigative files often contain unverified leads, third-party tips, or protected information under FOIA Exemption 7(C) regarding personal privacy.
Oyintiloye argued that these recycled attacks fit a familiar historical pattern designed to smear the President during critical political milestones—reminiscent of past controversies over academic credentials during his tenure as Lagos State Governor and similar allegations peddled during the 2023 campaign. Urging the public and media to avoid “trial by document,” the APC chieftain challenged the opposition to abandon campaigns of calumny, personality attacks, and blackmail, and instead focus on presenting substantive manifestos, policies, and alternative governance plans to Nigerians.
