“Where Will 2027 Be Decided?” INEC Shockingly Unveils The Exact Printing Hubs For Sensitive Electoral Materials.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that sensitive electoral materials for the 2027 general elections—specifically ballot papers and result sheets—will be printed domestically by local companies.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking with The Punch, INEC National Commissioner Mohammed Haruna explained that the electoral body recently published the credentials of governorship candidates and their running mates nationwide. Following inspections of local printing firms, the commission expressed confidence in their security infrastructure and production capacity.
Because of their highly sensitive nature, ballot papers and result sheets will be printed close to the election date. Once printed, these items will be routed to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for secure storage until they are retrieved and distributed publicly in the presence of media, civil society groups, and party agents.
Meanwhile, preparations for non-sensitive materials are already underway, with INEC producing items like ballot boxes, placing orders for Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines, and creating banners to cover potential shortages.
Despite these proactive steps, Haruna pointed out that a compressed preparation timeline poses a significant challenge. Due to recent amendments to the electoral law, the official planning window has been trimmed from one year down to six months. Even though the commission has secured a portion of its required funding and is currently finalizing printing contracts, time remains the primary constraint.
Addressing doubts regarding domestic production security, Haruna reassured the public by pointing to the smooth execution of the previous general election as a successful precedent with zero complaints regarding local printers.

“PROVE IT IN COURT!” Presidency Dares Atiku To Bring Evidence That Tinubu Is 90 Years Old.
Temitope Ajayi, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, has strongly dismissed claims made by African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar during a BBC interview asserting that President Tinubu is 90 years old. Describing Atiku’s remarks as the “last kick of a dying horse,” Ajayi argued that the former vice president’s statements stem from a desperate, time-constrained obsession with winning the presidency and fulfilling prophecies given by spiritualists.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Ajayi criticized Atiku for shifting away from his stated intention to focus his campaign on critical issues affecting everyday Nigerians, instead reducing his political strategy to personal attacks on President Tinubu’s private life. According to the presidential aide, Atiku resorts to fabricating absurd claims to keep his failing campaign in the news cycle, particularly after struggling to convince the public of the workability and soundness of his policy positions, such as his flip-flopping explanations regarding the restoration of the fuel subsidy.
Challenging the validity of Atiku’s assertions, Ajayi dared the opposition candidate to test his claims in a court of law, stating, “Let him go to court to present the evidence that President Tinubu is 90 years old.” Ajayi further noted that Atiku has a history of legal defeats against Tinubu across various courts in both Nigeria and the United States during past election cycles, predicting that any new legal or political challenges would similarly fail.

“THE 2027 PAUSE!” DSS Shockingly Considers Freezing Legal Battle Against Sowore Until After Elections
The Department of State Services (DSS) has decided to temporarily pause its cyber-bullying legal action against African Action Congress presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore until after the 2027 presidential election. Sources indicate that the agency has instructed its lead counsel, Akinolu Kehinde (SAN), to request a hold on the proceedings from the Federal High Court. This move is designed to allow Sowore to campaign unhindered.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The decision emerged from an August 20 meeting between DSS Director-General Tosin Ajayi, the legal directorate, and the senior lawyer handling the case—convened just a day after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lifted the ban on presidential campaigns. According to a source speaking with The Nation, the DSS chief reasoned that pausing a case already in court for nearly another four months would make little difference, noting it is only fair to let Sowore participate fully in the electoral race.
The legal tussle stems from August 2025 social media posts on and Facebook where Sowore labeled President Bola Tinubu a “criminal.” Following his non-compliance with a seven-day ultimatum to take down the posts, the DSS bypassed an arrest and instead approached the Federal High Court on September 16, 2025, seeking a judicial interpretation to fulfill its mandate of protecting the President from both physical and psychological attacks. In correspondence with Meta Corporation on September 6, 2025, the secret police drew parallels between this case and its previous legal challenge regarding Professor Pat Utomi’s “Shadow Government,” maintaining that both warranted judicial intervention.
