Premier League seventh-place finishers Sunderland are heading to the San Siro for their first continental campaign since 1973, and Bournemouth will debut in Europe by hosting Milan and traveling to Real Sociedad alongside fixtures against Viktoria Plzen, Sparta Prague, Sturm Graz, Celta Vigo, Hapoel Be’er Sheva, and Lillestrom. Conference League holders Crystal Palace will host Real Sociedad, Sparta Prague, Lech Poznan, and Hoffenheim, with away games at Lyon, Red Bull Salzburg, Jagiellonia, and Besiktas. In the Conference League draw, Brighton and Hearts discovered their six-match league-phase opponents. Brighton will host Monaco, Universitatea Craiova, and Kauno Zalgiris, and travel to Panathinaikos, Getafe, and Jablonec. Hearts will welcome Monaco, Borac, and Nordsjaelland to Tynecastle, with away matches against Pafos, Trabzonspor, and Thun ahead of their kickoff on October 15.
