The directive follows a viral video by Ibrahim Abdullahi Sa’ad, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly member representing Umaisha/Ugya Constituency, who exposed hospital management for auctioning off items—including orthopedic mattresses as well as ceiling and standing fans—that he had personally donated for patient care.

Speaking in Lafia on Thursday, an outraged Governor Sule condemned the act as inhuman. He instructed the Commissioner for Health to launch a full-scale investigation and ensure that anyone found culpable is fired and prosecuted.

Sule Blames Abuja Politicians for APC’s Defeat in Osun

In a separate development, Governor Sule weighed in on the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeat in the Osun State governorship election, which was won by Governor Ademola Adeleke. While presenting INEC acknowledgment slips to APC candidates for upcoming state elections, Sule alleged that external interference by politicians based in Abuja cost the party the election, asserting that the APC’s candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, would have otherwise secured victory.
