REBELLION IN THE RANKS: Party Heavyweights Clash Over Campaign Strategy!.
The All Progressives Congress chapter in Adamawa State has formally refuted allegations that its gubernatorial flagbearer, Tijani Galadima, intentionally boycotted the state-level unveiling ceremony for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign held in Yola. Rumors had circulated suggesting that Galadima deliberately snubbed the event due to internal political friction and speculations regarding potential substitutions on the party ticket.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Addressing these claims through media statements, the state party leadership clarified that the gubernatorial candidate’s absence was entirely official and pre-arranged, driven by critical party business outside the state. Representatives explained that Galadima was attending an official party consultation meeting in Abuja that had been scheduled prior to the release of the presidential campaign launch timetable. According to the party, both engagements formed a crucial part of the comprehensive strategy designed to secure electoral success, dismissing the rumors as mere distractions propagated by political detractors to project artificial disunity within their ranks.

Toluwanisings’ Death: ‘Hospitals Were Giving Excuses’ – Fresh Details Emerge.
Fresh details have emerged surrounding the death of Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, following an account shared by his personal assistant, Babadunni Gbolabo.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Toluwanisings reportedly died on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Gbolabo revealed that the singer suddenly slumped and was taken to several hospitals in Ibadan in an attempt to save his life, but the family reportedly struggled to secure medical attention.
According to the personal assistant, efforts to get the singer admitted were unsuccessful at as many as eight hospitals, with some facilities allegedly citing the unavailability of doctors due to an ongoing strike.
Gbolabo explained that the singer had appeared to be in good health before the incident occurred, leaving those around him shocked by his sudden collapse.
He added that attempts to revive the gospel musician were made before he was rushed from one hospital to another in search of emergency treatment.
Recounting the incident, Gbolabo said: “When it happened in the morning, I wasn’t here, so they called me and I came.
“There was nothing wrong with him. He was very fine and in perfect condition. He just slumped. They tried to resuscitate him. They went helter-skelter. They took him to some hospitals, but they were giving excuses.
“Some said doctors were not working because of the strike. Some did not admit him at all. That is how it went. We tried our best, including prayers. We took him to up to seven to eight hospitals in Ibadan, but God said his time was up.”
The singer’s personal assistant further disclosed that Toluwanisings’ body had been deposited at a mortuary while the family began making arrangements following his death.
He explained that relatives were yet to finalise the necessary decisions, adding that the next steps would be determined after family members had met and agreed on the arrangements.
“The family members are here. So, we are all just managing the situation, as the body is currently at the mortuary. Once the family members meet and are clear on things, we will know the next step to take.
“But they haven’t done the necessary things. Whatever they conclude upon arrival, that is what we will execute,” he added.

They Have Nothing To Say’ – Keyamo Mocks Opposition Over Tinubu’s Speech
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has ridiculed claims that President Bola Tinubu’s speech at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council was pre-recorded.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
whether Tinubu was physically present at the event.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga also criticised Odinkalu, accusing him of allowing political bias to influence his judgement.
Odinkalu sparked the controversy on Wednesday after posting a video clip of the event on X, formerly Twitter. He pointed to what he considered unusual camera transitions and challenged the organisers to release additional footage showing Tinubu’s arrival and a wider view of the venue.
“It does not require close study of this clip to understand that this was a pre-recorded address. @officialABAT was not at this venue in person,” Odinkalu wrote.
The activist further argued that the camera angles and transitions suggested a carefully staged production, urging the organisers to provide more footage to establish that the President attended the event in person.
Reacting on Thursday, Keyamo likened the allegation to conspiracy theories that circulated during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He recalled the 2017 claims that Buhari had died while receiving medical treatment in London and had been replaced by a body double popularly known as Jubril from Sudan.
“Now, some educated fellow (supposedly) comes up with an outrageous claim that the President’s appearance and speech yesterday at the launch of the APC Campaign Council were pre-recorded. Meanwhile, both the local and international Press physically covered the event LIVE,” Keyamo wrote.
The minister said he was uncertain whether to laugh or cry over the allegation. He also suggested that signs of mental distress were becoming increasingly noticeable among some opposition figures.
Onanuga separately took aim at Odinkalu, accusing him of joining online critics who, according to him, promote misleading claims for political reasons.
“You’ve let partisanship cloud your vision and judgment. You are now a member of the internet mob, eager to disregard the truth and push false narratives online. You should be ashamed of this post,” the presidential spokesman stated.
The dispute came after the APC inaugurated its Presidential Campaign Council at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja as the ruling party stepped up preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Tinubu is the chairman of the council, while Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda serve as vice-chairmen.
Former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari was appointed Director-General of the council, with Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma serving as secretary.
The APC has fixed October 24 for its official campaign flag-off rally, which is scheduled to take place in Kaduna State.
