He encouraged the electorate to critically evaluate the caliber of candidates put forward by each political party, asking voters to weigh the options carefully when entering the ballot booth. Emphasizing the absolute necessity of civic participation, Oyetola implored all eligible citizens to turn out en masse, locate the broom insignia and party logo on the ballot paper, and cast their votes for the APC. Concluding his remarks with a bold declaration of victory, the minister assured his supporters that their collective efforts at the polls would culminate in a joyous celebration for the party while leaving their opponents in tears.

Makinde argued that political progress should be evaluated based on tangible improvements in daily life rather than administrative announcements or campaign rhetoric. He noted that economic policies are best reflected through household purchasing power, job availability, market access, and public security rather than press statements or security briefings.

Looking toward 2027, the governor urged political actors to focus on evidence, ideas, and concrete solutions for poverty alleviation, youth employment, education, security, and a more decentralized federal structure.
