During an interview with Vibe Q, the singer revealed that his father, sisters, and brothers have consistently formed his strongest pillar of support throughout his career. Whenever difficulties arise, he noted, they are always the first to reach out.

Reflecting on the tragic loss of his child, Davido shared how his family stood by his side, staying close and supporting him until he began to heal emotionally. He explained that because they witnessed firsthand how broken he was during that devastating period, they now feel a deep sense of joy seeing him back on stage performing.

Highlighting their constant care, Davido mentioned that even when he fails to reach out, his family members consistently check in on him to ensure he is doing well.

Summarizing his gratitude, Davido stated:

“My family has been the only one helping me through scandals & problems, my brothers & sisters and my father are always the first to call me when something bad happens when I lost my child they stayed with me till I was fine, they’re always happy seeing me perform cuz they know how broken I was when I lost my child, even the days I don’t call them they always call in to check up on me.”
