NO GO AREA: PFN Declares Total War Against Any Muslim-Muslim Ticket Come 2027!.

Published

on

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has formally declared its opposition to a same-faith, Muslim-Muslim ticket for elective offices in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Following a National Executive Council meeting, the Christian body issued a communiqué, signed by National Publicity Secretary Dr. Sylvanus Ukafia, emphasizing that Nigeria’s political leadership must mirror its religious and ethnic pluralism to foster trust and national cohesion.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

This resolution follows the All Progressives Congress (APC) adoption of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima—both Muslims—as their ticket for the 2027 presidential race. While affirming its dedication to Nigeria’s stability, the PFN argued that inclusive governance is essential for ensuring all citizens feel a sense of belonging.

In the communiqué, the PFN stated:

“The PFN does not support the adoption of a Muslim-Muslim ticket for elective public office. Nigeria is a multi-religious and multi-ethnic nation whose diversity should be reflected in its leadership. Inclusive governance promotes national unity, mutual trust, and a sense of belonging among all citizens.”

Beyond the 2027 ticket issue, the PFN registered strong objections to any legislation or policy that would restrict Christian preaching. The body declared that any such law would violate constitutional guarantees of freedom of religion, thought, and expression. While acknowledging the government’s role in maintaining public order, the PFN warned against using regulatory powers to suppress religious freedom or infringe on fundamental human rights.

Concluding the statement, the PFN called on Christians nationwide to remain peaceful, prayerful, and law-abiding while exercising their rights. It also advocated for continuous, sincere dialogue between the government, religious groups, and civil society to address threats to national unity, urging that Nigeria’s diversity be viewed as a strength rather than a source of division.

‘TOTAL LIES!’: Arokodare Denies Secret Training Ground Fight As Transfer Speculation Explodes!.

Published

Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare has refuted allegations of a training ground altercation at Wolverhampton Wanderers, emphasizing his continued dedication to the Championship club amid ongoing speculation regarding his future.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The 25-year-old striker issued a statement addressing claims that Wolves barred him from first-team training sessions earlier in the week amid mounting transfer interest. Arokodare expressed surprise and disappointment over the inaccurate media reports, noting that he has always maintained high professional standards and remains focused on fulfilling his contractual duties to support his teammates and the club.

The rumors surfaced following claims that a training session was halted after he allegedly refused to leave the pitch, alongside reports that extra security was deployed at the Compton Park training ground. These developments unfold amid a transitional phase for the club, following relegation from the Premier League and manager Cesar Peixoto replacing Rob Edwards. Arokodare, who netted six goals in 38 appearances last season, has drawn interest from various European outfits, including Serie A clubs Genoa and Fiorentina—with the latter having a bid rejected—as well as Ajax, while he previously turned down an offer from Turkey’s Trabzonspor. His exclusion from a pre-season friendly against Maidenhead United further fueled exit rumors.

This situation has also gained prominence in light of new FIFA regulations on player status and transfers, established in agreement with FIFPRO to safeguard players from abusive practices. Under these updated rules, clubs are strictly prohibited from demoting contracted players, forcing them into isolated training groups to coerce transfer decisions, withholding passports, or manipulating registration procedures.

BEWARE THE BAIT: Former President Obasanjo Drops Blistering Warning On Foreign Assistance!.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo cautioned African countries to carefully assess the terms attached to foreign aid, noting that improper assistance can trap economies and undermine independent growth. Speaking on Wednesday at the MUSON Centre in Onikan, Lagos, during the public presentation of the biography titled ‘The Ibru Story: An Account of a Pioneering Nigerian Business Family’—which highlights the life and legacy of industrialist Michael Ibru—Obasanjo shared historical insights on foreign entanglement.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Recalling Nigeria’s assistance to Angola under late President Agostinho Neto, Obasanjo noted that Michael Ibru had previously urged him to look into Angola’s fishing sector following a $20 million aid package from Nigeria. According to Obasanjo, Neto explained that heavy Soviet economic influence had blocked other potential investors from entering the market.

Quoting Neto, Obasanjo recounted:

“The Soviets are advising us, and they are exploiting their fish. If they are the ones exploiting the fish and they are also the ones advising, where is the chance for anybody else to come in?”

Obasanjo further emphasized:

“When you are asking for help, you must watch the type of help you seek and the type of help you get. Angola got help from the Soviet Union, but it was the help that choked Angola in the throat. Angola had no chance to do anything with anybody else.”

In addition to foreign policy reflections, Obasanjo shared lessons from Michael Ibru’s leadership style, recalling how the late entrepreneur advised against micromanaging an organization. Highlighting Ibru’s legacy of discipline, drive, and family cohesion, Obasanjo encouraged the family to safeguard those core values, adding, “This family must be held together at all costs. We should never be tired of bringing everybody together. That will be a good legacy”.

‘SET HIM FREE NOW!’: US Lawmaker Sparks International Firestorm Over Nnamdi Kanu Detention!.

United States Representative John James introduced a motion in Congress advocating for the immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

During his address, James accused the Nigerian authorities of permitting the killing of innocent citizens and asserted that the country has become exceptionally dangerous for Christians while extremist groups like Boko Haram operate largely unchecked. He contended that Kanu was convicted on terrorism charges through a flawed trial merely for voicing dissent against conditions in Nigeria.

Consequently, the lawmaker urged the Nigerian government to grant Kanu a fresh trial adhering strictly to its national constitution, proper evidence, international human rights standards, and full access to legal representation and medical care. Furthermore, James warned that the U.S. should not continue financing a government he associates with Christian persecution, urging his congressional colleagues to back his legislative push to secure Kanu’s freedom and protect religious liberty in the region.
