During an appearance on ‘The Morayo Podcast Show’, Bwala argued that Nigerians with Master’s and PhD degrees working in care homes are essentially experiencing “modern-day slavery”.

He claimed that some Nigerians who feel they are struggling domestically are actually better off than those who emigrated years ago.

Bwala stated that it is demeaning for Nigerians who earned first or second-class degrees to pursue further education only to work in care homes, suggesting that this type of work is even more degrading than that of a house help.

In separate comments shared on , Bwala accused presidential candidate Peter Obi of responding with displeasure whenever the current administration achieves progress.
