Petrol Price Adjustments: The Dangote Petroleum Refinery reduced its ex-depot petrol price by ₦1 per litre, moving from ₦1,076 to ₦1,075. MRS Oil Nigeria also lowered its price by ₦2 per litre, reaching ₦1,074, while other major marketers maintained their previous rates. In Warri, competition prompted minor price decreases among some retailers, while prices in Port Harcourt and Calabar remained largely stable.

Diesel Price Trends: While petrol showed relative stability in Lagos, diesel prices saw widespread increases. Several depots in Lagos, including African Terminal, Duport, Ibachem, Ibeto, and T-Time, raised prices by ₦40 per litre to reach ₦1,450. Conversely, the Port Harcourt market saw diesel price reductions at Matrix and Sigmund depots. In Warri, Prudent increased its diesel price significantly by ₦70 per litre, whereas Fynfield in Calabar raised its price by ₦30 per litre.
Market participants remain cautious, as the continued upward trend in international crude oil prices raises concerns about potential future increases for petroleum products.
