“From Stamford Bridge To Paris: Liam Rosenior Secures High-Stakes Paris FC Role After Chelsea Exit!”.

Published

on

Liam Rosenior, a 41-year-old English tactician, has been named the new head coach of Ligue 1 side Paris FC, signing a two-year deal with an additional one-year option. He takes over from Antoine Kombouare following the club’s 11th-place finish last season, as owners the Arnault family—alongside minority stakeholder Red Bull—look to push the team higher up the table. The club cited Rosenior’s high-level experience, his dedication to attacking football, and his proven ability to nurture young talent as the primary reasons for his appointment.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Rosenior’s move to France comes just three months after he was dismissed by Chelsea in April following a difficult tenure. Although his time at Stamford Bridge started positively after replacing Enzo Maresca in January, his tenure ended on a poor note with five consecutive Premier League losses without a goal. Despite that struggle, his reputation remains bolstered by his previous success at Chelsea’s sister club, Strasbourg, where he led the youngest squad in Europe’s top five leagues to a seventh-place finish and UEFA Conference League qualification during the 2024-25 season.

Before his time in west London, Rosenior’s coaching background included roles with Brighton’s Under-23 team, an assistant position under Wayne Rooney at Derby County, and a stint as manager of Hull City, where he guided the team to a seventh-place Championship finish. Chelsea has since moved on, hiring former Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso as the sixth permanent manager since the BlueCo takeover.

Published

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and former ADC chieftain, Babachir Lawal, has asserted that the SGF’s office holds the primary responsibility for identifying and flagging the unauthorized Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC). Lawal made these remarks during an interview on ARISE Television amid ongoing police investigations into the alleged “fake agency,” which recently led to the detention of the father of the organization’s purported Director-General, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Lawal’s perspective on the SGF’s oversight role includes:

  • During his own tenure, he personally attended budget defenses for the 23 agencies reporting directly to the SGF, ensuring he was fully informed of their operations.

  • Because the budgets of agencies reporting to the President through the SGF must pass through the SGF’s office before reaching the National Assembly, the SGF should naturally have knowledge of such entities.

  • Unless there is a “dereliction of duty,” the SGF should have flagged the existence of the fake agency.

  • He suggested that the SGF might only fail to intervene if they feel significantly “sidelined” and choose to ignore the issue.

  • Lawal emphasized that if he were in that position and felt sidelined, he would immediately protest the matter directly to the President.
