He noted that in an era of misinformation and AI-generated content, professional journalists are essential for separating facts from speculation. Additionally, the President framed the government and the media as essential partners in nation-building, maintaining that while healthy tension is necessary for democracy, laws like the Cybercrimes Act exist to protect the information ecosystem rather than suppress speech.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to police and court records:
-
Adeyemi allegedly sent a request to the Accountant-General on April 4, 2025, for the deployment of accounting and auditing staff.

The officials stated they had never heard of the PFIPC prior to their deployment.

Due to the total lack of work, the officers reported to the office only intermittently, ranging from once a week to three times a week, merely to make an appearance.
While investigators allege that Adeyemi forged government letterheads and appointment documents to secure the staff deployment, Adeyemi has denied these allegations, claiming he is being targeted by the Presidency.
