Led by Balarabe Rufai, the ADC National Youth Leader, the group marched from their party headquarters in Wuse II to the Federal High Court in Maitama, carrying signs and chanting slogans against the ruling. Their key concerns and demands included:

  • Allegations of Bias: The party has submitted a petition to the National Judicial Council (NJC), accusing the judge of “judicial banditry” for allegedly ignoring a subsisting Court of Appeal order that stayed proceedings on the matter.

  • Electoral Participation: The youth group emphasized that they will continue their advocacy to ensure the ADC is permitted to participate in the 2027 general elections.

Sowore further claimed that it was the AAC’s unwavering position at the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt that actually rattled the Tinubu government, rather than any actions from Atiku’s camp.
