The warning was delivered on Saturday by Vincent Olatunji, the NDPC National Commissioner, during an appearance on Channels Television. This declaration addresses growing anxieties regarding data privacy and the security of voter records across the nation.

Olatunji stated that the commission is increasing its efforts to oversee how political entities and institutions manage personal information as the electoral season approaches. He emphasized that the widespread collection of voter data by political parties and other organizations has turned data protection into a critical national security priority.

“They are collecting data of their party members,” Olatunji noted, questioning the privacy protocols and safeguards currently in place. “They don’t even know. That’s the truth. Anyone found revealing people’s data will be prosecuted.”
