  • Malpractice and Violence: Ossai accused political actors of vote buying, intimidation, and voter inducement, alongside claims of violence and the manipulation of electoral materials.

  • Bias: He further alleged that some ad-hoc Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) staff were affiliated with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), calling their neutrality into question.
