The Arsenal trio played pivotal roles in securing the club’s first Premier League title in 22 years, while Erling Haaland earned his nomination after winning the Golden Boot with 27 league goals. Rayan Cherki is recognized for a standout debut season, and Bruno Fernandes enters the race following a record-breaking 21-assist campaign that helped Manchester United finish third. Notably, Fernandes was recently named the Football Writers’ Association Men’s Footballer of the Year.
The PFA also unveiled the nominees for the Men’s Young Player of the Year, which includes Rayan Cherki, Nico O’Reilly, Kobbie Mainoo, Eli Junior Kroupi, Max Dowman, and Rio Ngumoha. Winners for these categories, as well as the PFA Women’s Player of the Year, will be revealed at the 53rd annual PFA Awards ceremony on August 25 in Manchester.
