“We Have Nowhere To Go”: Displaced Nasarawa Villagers Beg For Help As Invaders Occupy Their Territory!.

Published

on

What began as a series of violent attacks in the Odeni Gida Ward of Nasarawa State—resulting in over 80 deaths and the widespread destruction of homes and farms—has escalated into a more alarming situation: the apparent occupation of deserted villages by the very individuals who forced the residents out. Survivors report that these attackers are now openly grazing cattle in the abandoned communities, leading many to argue that the violence was a coordinated armed conquest rather than the “communal clash” often cited by government and security officials.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

  • Disputed Narrative: Residents and community commentators, such as Yahaya Kana Ismaila, reject the “communal clash” classification, noting that the victims share no ethnic or territorial ties with the heavily armed invaders who carried out these simultaneous, sophisticated attacks.

  • Growing Impunity: Despite reports of significant loss of life, residents express deep frustration over the lack of arrests and accountability. Critics argue that premature reconciliation meetings and the inequitable distribution of relief materials have only served to weaken the pursuit of justice.

  • Desperate Appeals: With many villagers still displaced and fearful of returning to their homes, there is mounting distrust toward local authorities. Community members, including Abdulwahid Angala Odeni and Suleiman Otto Wakili, are now pleading for direct intervention from the Federal Government to address the ongoing insecurity and the illegal occupation of their lands.

As the tragedy continues to fade from public discourse, survivors are left to grapple with an existential question: if they cannot safely return, who now lays claim to their ancestral heritage?

Popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut has been uncharacteristically quiet on social media, sparking speculation after remaining offline for over 10 hours. This sudden silence follows serious allegations made by humanitarian advocate Livinus Nwosu, claiming that the Department of State Services (DSS) is actively gathering information on Ednut and fellow controversial blogger Very Dark Man (VDM).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Unusual Social Media Silence A review of Tunde Ednut’s Instagram page confirms he has not posted in over 10 hours—a highly unusual occurrence for the typically active influencer. This blackout has fueled rumors connecting his absence to the unfolding drama involving VDM and the DSS.

Allegations of a DSS Information Dragnet The claims originated from Livinus Nwosu, who was reportedly arrested by security operatives in Bayelsa while attempting to register to vote. Although Nwosu was later released, VDM shared a video containing messages Nwosu allegedly sent detailing his interrogation.

In the messages shared by VDM, Nwosu alleged that the authorities forcefully obtained VDM’s phone number and heavily questioned him about his relationship with both VDM and “Mazi Tunde” (Ednut). Nwosu claimed the DSS was trying to gather evidence, asking about their frequency of communication, VDM’s return date to the country, and accusing Nwosu of inciting the public against the government.

VDM Reacts with Defiance VDM, who is currently abroad, addressed the allegations by warning the DSS against arresting his associates. He boldly stated that he is not afraid of arrest and revealed his planned date of return to Nigeria.

As the silence from Tunde Ednut continues, fans are left wondering about the influencer’s whereabouts and whether the allegations of a coordinated DSS investigation have prompted his sudden retreat from the online world.
