“I Am Not Quitting!” Chief Priest Throws Down Gauntlet After Crushing Defeat At APC Reps Primary.

Following his unsuccessful bid for a House of Representatives ticket during the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, Nigerian socialite Paschal Okechukwu, popularly known as Chief Priest, has declared that he remains fully committed to his political ambitions.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a recent discussion on Beat FM 99.9, Chief Priest addressed the public ridicule he faced following his defeat, noting that while many critics suggested he had made a poor political decision, the setback has only sharpened his understanding of the Nigerian political landscape. He emphasized that true political success is a long-term endeavor that requires strategic patience rather than immediate results.

Chief Priest pointed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a primary source of inspiration, highlighting how the President spent years cultivating influence and supporting others before ascending to the nation’s highest office. Adopting this philosophy, he explained that he views his current situation as an opportunity to regroup, refine his strategy, and return more prepared.

“President Tinubu sacrificed eight years and pushed President Buhari to first go before him,” Chief Priest stated. “So what am I learning from my master? Patience, perseverance, knowing that you can step back, restrategize and hit at the right time. I will try again even if I lost before”.

Undeterred by the electoral outcome, he also noted that he has already redirected his energy toward his creative pursuits, adding, “That’s why I jumped into the studio and let them know this is still CP and in less than one week from that primary, CP has a new hit song banging out here”.
