Anthony Joshua Yet To Sign, Fury Grows Frustrated Over Delayed Mega Fight.

The long-awaited heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has once again been delayed, despite reports suggesting the fight is close to being finalised.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to a BBC report, Fury’s camp has already signed the contract, while Joshua is yet to put pen to paper, casting fresh uncertainty over the long-talked-about all-British showdown.

Tension between both fighters resurfaced after Fury defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Joshua was present ringside, and Fury climbed the ropes to gesture toward him, but Joshua remained seated.

Speaking afterwards, Fury expressed frustration over the situation.

“He didn’t want the smoke. He came ringside to make the fight. If it were me, I’d have jumped in the ring. Ten years in the making and still there’s uncertainty if it’s going to happen next,” Fury said.

The WBC heavyweight champion even hinted that he could consider retirement if the long-awaited bout with Joshua fails to materialise again.

Joshua’s hesitation is reportedly linked to recent inactivity and personal setbacks. The former world champion has fought just once in the past 18 months, stopping Jake Paul in six rounds in December.

He also survived a tragic car accident that same month, which claimed the lives of two close friends.

A potential tune-up fight against Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25 is being considered as preparation for a possible showdown with Fury.

However, Fury dismissed the idea of warm-up fights, insisting fighters must stay ready at all times.

“We’ve all had problems, that’s life. Taking interim fights, you can get chinned by anyone,” he said.

He wrote, “I need to get this off my chest before Chanel drops, the reason I didn’t sign to Mavin when they were begging me with a million dollars is cos I don’t really like posting, I prefer 1 tweet per year than engaging my fans, I’m too big for that, I’m mysterious.”

reports that he made this known during a roundtable conversation on Echo Room, where he discussed relationships and his preferred qualities in a partner.

Teddy A explained that he has no problem being with a “high-value” woman who is active in her career, adding that he respects and admires women who are driven and self-sufficient.

However, he made it clear that he is not in favour of a stay-at-home wife, stressing that he prefers a partnership where both individuals work and contribute to building their future together.

According to him, marriage should be a joint effort that allows couples to enjoy the results of their shared hard work later in life.

He said: “The way I see a woman, I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman; I do not want a stay-at-home wife. I hate that s**t, we both have got to get it so when we get older, we can enjoy what we have worked on together. But the point where you miss it is when you are not submissive.”

Tiwi Remi, wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Remi, has revealed why she intentionally stays off most social media platforms, disclosing that she only uses LinkedIn while avoiding apps such as Instagram, TikTok, and .....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

reports that she made this known during an appearance on the YouTube podcast Bare by BKO, where she discussed her personal lifestyle and her experience as the wife of a public figure.

She said many people are often surprised that she has little to no online presence despite her husband’s fame in the entertainment industry.

According to her, her decision to step back from social media began even before her marriage, during a period when she was uncertain about her identity and life direction, and preferred not to stay active online without purpose.

She explained that she chose to focus on self-discovery rather than spending time on social platforms.

Tiwi added that over time, she began to see her decision as aligning with her future, especially after marrying a well-known actor with a strong public image and large fan base.

She noted that after her marriage to Kunle Remi, she became more aware of how widely his work and personal life are followed globally, while she remains largely offline.

She said: “So the big response for why I was not on social media was that I had no idea who I was and what I was meant to be contributing to other people, and therefore, I didn’t feel like being online and using my influence in a lukewarm way was enough to justify spending so much time on an app.

“I also didn’t know at the time that God was cleaning out my digital footprint because of the person I was going to marry. I had no idea I was going to marry this superstar who had such a strong public image with limited controversy.

“When I got married to my husband, I was told by one of my girlfriends that everyone’s getting notifications all around the world, and Tiwi is getting zero.

“And when she said that to me, it dawned on me.

“I am not on any social media channels, except for LinkedIn. That is the honest answer. I don’t have a burner page or pages.

“I don’t have the apps on my personal phone. If I need to get on Instagram, TikTok, you name it, I would have to go on my husband’s phone when he is home and available, and his phone is not in use.

“I am not a scroller. Like, I literally am looking for something specific, and that’s it.”

Kunle Remi and Tiwi publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2024, when he introduced her as his wife. The couple later held their traditional and white wedding ceremonies in Ibadan and Lagos, and welcomed their first child in March 2025 following a challenging pregnancy journey.
