News reports that he made the statement during a live session with streamer Peller.
According to him, his political background has made some people within Tinubu’s circle view him with suspicion, believing he could switch loyalty in the future.
He also spoke about his exit from Peter Obi’s political camp, explaining that he left because he was tired of experiencing repeated political setbacks.
Chief Priest further stated that Peter Obi is not yet fully prepared for the highest level of leadership, adding that he does not believe Obi will win the next presidential election.
He said: “Tinubu still doesn’t fully trust me because I’m an Igbo man and I once worked for Peter Obi, so they feel I could betray him too. I left Peter Obi because I didn’t want to keep losing. Peter Obi is not ready and I don’t see him winning the next election.”
His comments come shortly after he lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency seat to incumbent lawmaker Canice Nwachukwu.
