Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has faced widespread backlash after stating that any man who forgives a cheating wife will eventually regret it.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Reports indicate that the actor made the comment following the marital controversy involving media personality Frank Edoho, advising men to immediately leave their wives if infidelity is discovered.

In a post shared on his handle, Edochie argued that forgiving an unfaithful spouse reflects weakness and should be avoided.

He further claimed that once a cheating partner is forgiven, especially a woman, it may encourage repeated infidelity, warning that such situations often end badly for men who tolerate it.

According to him, “Once you find out your wife is cheating on you, leave her immediately. Men, stop tolerating nonsense all in the name of marriage. Don’t negotiate anything with her.

Don’t condone. Don’t discuss with her boyfriend. Let her go quickly. And move on. If you forgive her and continue, you have confirmed to her that you’re a weak man. Danger looms for you. That decision will come back later to haunt you. Women deal mercilessly with weak men.”

However, the statement triggered strong reactions online, with many social media users criticising him and referencing his own past marital issues with his estranged wife, May Edochie.

Some users argued that he was not in a position to give such advice, accusing him of hypocrisy given his widely publicised relationship controversies.

Comments from netizens ranged from sharp criticism to outright ridicule, with many insisting that his personal life contradicts the advice he was giving.
