“Football Shock Message” – Osimhen Told To Dump Galatasaray By Ex-Nigeria Star Obinna Nsofor.

Former Super Eagles forward, Obinna Nsofor, has advised Victor Osimhen to consider leaving Galatasaray during the upcoming summer transfer window, insisting that a move to a top UEFA Champions League contender is essential for the striker to reach the peak of European football.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Nsofor, a 2008 Olympic silver medalist with Nigeria, praised Osimhen’s impressive performances in Turkey but maintained that the 27-year-old must now take a step up in his career.

Speaking in an interview with Brila FM, he said Osimhen has already achieved enough at Galatasaray and needs to test himself at a higher competitive level if he truly wants to be regarded among the world’s best strikers.

According to him, while Galatasaray remains a major club, it is not among the favourites to win the UEFA Champions League, adding that Osimhen should be playing for a team regularly competing for Europe’s biggest honours.

Nsofor argued that the striker is already operating at an elite level and should be facing top defenders and strikers consistently in the most competitive environments.

Osimhen has enjoyed a highly productive spell in Istanbul, scoring 59 goals in 74 appearances and helping the club secure multiple trophies. He recently contributed a brace in a 4–2 win over Antalyaspor to seal another league title and has recorded 15 goals and five assists in the current league season.

The Nigerian forward first gained global recognition at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup before progressing through Lille and later making history with Napoli, where he played a key role in their Serie A triumph and finished among the top contenders for the Ballon d’Or.

Ahead of the next transfer window, several top European clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona have reportedly shown interest in the striker.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that José Mourinho, currently linked with a potential return to Real Madrid, could prioritize signing Osimhen if he takes charge of the Spanish giants, having previously compared him to Didier Drogba during his time at AS Roma.

Osimhen previously had a proposed move to Chelsea fall through in 2024 and also turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia before joining Galatasaray.
