reports that the revelation comes just hours after news of Alex’s death shocked many of his colleagues and fans in the entertainment industry.

In a post shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday evening, Stanley recounted the circumstances leading to the actor’s death, explaining that Alex had undergone a liver transplant, but complications later set in when the organ reportedly failed again, leading to a deterioration in his health until his passing.

Stanley Ontop, who described himself as a close associate of the late actor, added that Alex’s body has been deposited in the morgue. He also appealed to the public to avoid spreading unverified information about the cause of his illness.

He wrote: “Alex was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in 2024. After undergoing treatment and a liver transplant, he briefly returned to work. Unfortunately, the liver failed again, complications arose, and his condition deteriorated until his passing. His remains have been deposited at the morgue.

“We kindly ask the public to refrain from spreading unverified claims regarding the cause of his illness. We request that everyone allow Alex to rest in peace and respect the privacy of his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”
