reports that Omole made the remarks during an interview with Edmund Obilo, where he discussed reported tensions between Aisha Buhari and some members of the former president’s inner political circle while he was in office.

He said there were claims at the time that the former First Lady had a strained relationship with certain individuals close to the presidency. He also referenced what he described as her personal experiences and concerns during that period.

According to him, Aisha Buhari once expressed fears that she was experiencing spiritual attacks while living in the Presidential Villa. He further stated that concerns about her safety were raised at some point, which, according to him, led to her temporary departure from the Villa.

Omole said the former First Lady was deeply unsettled by some of the experiences she reportedly went through while residing in Aso Villa as the president’s wife.

“Some people within the former president’s inner political circle did not have a smooth relationship with Aisha Buhari while she was in Aso Villa,” Omole said during the interview.

“She once said she felt she was experiencing spiritual attacks during that period,” he added.

“There were concerns about her personal safety at some point, and she temporarily left the Presidential Villa,” he said.

“She was deeply troubled by some of the experiences she said she went through while she was First Lady,” he added.
